Project Apollonia
— Restoring Medieval Majesty

Bringing a Crusades-Era Fortress to Life.

Less than ten miles north of Tel Aviv, stands a great cliff overlooking the shimmering mediterranean. Atop the cliff sits a great fortress, dating back to the 6th century BCE. The town lived through Maccabean revolts, Hasmonean kings, Roman and Muslim emperors and a war between Richard the Lion-Hearted and Saladin.

It is amongst these shining ruins that lies a very exciting restoration. Our latest project in Apollonia brings together executive in the Tech sector to raise funds to develop and excavate even more of its fascinating history.

When you become a member, you’re contributing to rebuilding this ancient heritage site, and elevating it to its former glory.

Our Work in Apollonia National Park Includes:

  • Archaeological excavation and restoration of the western side of the fortress.

  • Creating a viewing platform above the remains of the ancient harbor.

  • Enhancing walkways through the park, to increase access for all visitors.
